This policy explains what information My Goat Farms ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and its enquiry form.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- the subject and message you write;
- the date and time the enquiry was sent.
We don't ask for payment details, Aadhaar or any other identity numbers on this website.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo if you asked for one, and follow up about My Goat Farms. We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a service run by Google that we use to hold our data. Access is limited to the My Goat Farms admin team, who must sign in to read enquiries. The website itself is hosted on GitHub Pages, which, like any web host, may keep basic technical logs such as IP addresses to run and protect its service.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. To reduce spam, your browser remembers when it last sent an enquiry (stored only on your device, for one minute). Your first name is kept in your browser's temporary storage for a moment so the thank-you page can greet you; it is cleared when you close the tab.
Links to other services
If you use the "WhatsApp us" button, your conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to talk with you about My Goat Farms and keep a record of our conversations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent for us to contact you. We'll respond to your request within a reasonable time, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
This website is meant for farm owners and their teams. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
